1.2 V-Mount Battery Brackets

The EDGE Console is equipped with V-Mount battery brackets that provide a flexible power solution, allowing the console to operate without being plugged into a wall outlet or powered using the 4-Pin XLR connector.

The V-Mount battery brackets are compatible with standard V-Mount batteries, making it easy to power the console in mobile or remote environments where DC power is not available.

Supported Voltages
The V-Mount battery brackets support batteries with standard voltages of 14.4V and 26V.

Locking and Unlocking the Battery
To secure or release a battery in the V-Mount bracket:

  • To Lock the Battery: Insert the battery into the V-Mount bracket, ensuring the battery's V-Mount plate aligns with the bracket's connector. Once in place, press the battery gently until you hear a click, indicating that the locking mechanism has engaged and the battery is secured.
  • To Unlock the Battery: To remove the battery, press the release button or lever (depending on the model of your bracket) to disengage the lock. Once the lock is released, gently slide the battery out of the bracket.

Ensure that the battery is properly secured before use to prevent any accidental disconnections during operation.

Battery Voltage Display
The current voltage levels of the installed batteries are continuously displayed in the status bar of the graphical user interface (GUI). This provides real-time monitoring, so you can easily track the remaining power and ensure that the console remains operational. The voltage readings for each connected battery are shown at all times, giving you an overview of your power status.
