10 DMX Output View
The DMX Output View is a useful tool for troubleshooting DMX or data issues, as well as verifying which channels are being output and at what values.
To open the DMX Output View, navigate to the Shortcuts Page in the Menu and select DMX Output View.
The DMX Output View provides a clear overview of DMX output mapping, making it an essential tool for troubleshooting data issues or verifying channel output.
At the top of the view, a search bar allows you to quickly find fixtures by typing their name, universe, or fixture number. If you need to focus on a specific universe, you can press the Filter button to apply a universe-only view. This filter can be toggled on or off as needed.
Fixtures within the DMX Output View can be selected, and selected fixtures will be highlighted with a green background for easy identification. The view includes columns that display the fixture’s address, channel usage, and the currently active output values.
This functionality ensures that DMX data can be monitored, helping to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.
